Sedition: SAR Geelani granted bail
New Delhi, Mar 19 (IBNS) A Delhi sessions court on Saturday granted bail to former Delhi University professor SAR Geelani.
Geelani, who was arrested on sedition charges, was granted bail by special judge Deepak Garg.
Geelani has been directed by the court to furnish Rs 50000 as personal bond and one surety like amount.
He was arrested for allegedly organizing an event to mark the death anniversary of Parliament Attack convict Afzal Guru last month.
