Security forces apprehended a person identified as Malu Sethi, resident of Ponklasahi, Orissa from Paharpur village in the area.

They have also recovered three kilograms of deadly explosives, detonator, shrapnel’s and equipment for making IEDs in possession from him.

Two dummy rifles were also found from the gunrunner.

“Post spot interrogation he admitted to supplying explosives to terrorist outfits and further admitted to have been convicted previously at Guwahati for similar offences and is on bail for last one year,” Colonel Konwer said.
