Kolkata, Oct 13 (IBNS): Media personality and former Union Minister Matang Sinh's estranged wife Manoranjana Sinh, who was arrested in connection with Saradha chit fund scam, was admitted to Seth Sukhlal Karnani Memorial (SSKM) hospital on Monday night, reports said.

According to reports, Manoranjana Sinh on Monday evening complained of chest pain and  breathing trouble and was rushed to the hospital.

She is being treated in SSKM hospital's cardiology department.

After marathon interrogation, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Oct 7 arrested Manoranjana Sinh for her alleged involvement in multi-crore Saradha chit fund scam.

Meanwhile, her ex-husband and former union minister Matang Sinh, who was arrested by the CBI in Saradha chit fund case, is also being treated in the same hospital since last February.
