Kolkata, Jun 1 (IBNS): The three accused, who were arrested on Tuesday for gang raping a woman in Kolkata's IT hub Salt Lake area, have been sent to judicial custody for 14 days.
The trio- Arnab Bera, Saurav Dey and Subhendu Nath- was produced in Bidhannagar Sub-Divisional Court on Wednesday and sent to judicial custody for fourteen days. The court also directed to conduct Test Identification (TI) Parade of the three accused.

Earlier on Sunday midnight, a woman, who is a native of Nepal, was forcefully taken into a car and allegedly gang raped by four men inside the running car for at least three hours.

She was dropped from the vehicle in Salt Lake's Baisakhi area in an unconscious state.

Police rescued her on Monday early morning and admitted her to Bidhannagar Sub-Divisional Hospital in serious condition.

After examining CCTV footage of the area and tracing mobile network, police on Tuesday nabbed three of the four accused from Haroa in North 24 Parganas. The remaining one is still absconding.
