Sahara tells SC it found a lender
New Delhi, Nov 28 (IBNS): The Sahara Group has informed the Supreme Court that it has found a lender, willing to give the company a loan against its three hotels abroad. reports said.
The company has sought permission to transfer Rs 3070 crore in a Escrow account against these properties.
The apex court has in turn directed the group to deposit Rs 186 crore which has been raised by selling some properties in India.
Sahara chief Subrata Roy is in Tihar Jail after his arrest for allegedly defrauding investors of over Rs 200 billion.
