Chandigarh, Oct 7 (IBNS): The Punjab and Haryana court has granted the Pinto family, who run Ryan International School, an anticipatory bail till December 5, with regard to the Pradyuman Thakur death case, media reports said.

It was at this school that Pradyuman Thakur, a class two student, was found in a pool of blood inside the washroom of the school with his throat slit open,

The High Court, however, has asked Ryan International School's founder and Chairman Augustine Pinto, Managing Director Grace and CEO Ryan Pinto not to leave the country and join the probe in the murder case.

The Bombay High Court had earlier rejected the anticipatory bail applications of  Ryan International School's founder and Chairman Augustine Pinto, Managing Director Grace and CEO  Ryan Pinto, reports said.

Augustine Pinto, his wife Grace and son Ryan had moved the top court seeking anticipatory bail after the school became the centre of a storm following the gruesome murder of a seven-year-old student, Pradyuman Thakur, inside the institute premises in Gurugram.

Ryan Pinto, the school group’s CEO claimed that the school was a victim of “unfortunate circumstances”

A conductor of the school's bus was arrested in connection with the incident. He allegedly confessed to have committed the crime after failing to sexually abuse the child.

As a massive outrage prevailed over the shocking incident, police have  arrested two top officials of the school while the Supreme Court has accepted a petition from the victim's father for a CBI probe into it.

Meanwhile, the CBSE has issued a circular with guidelines for schools, regarding safety of children in schools premises.
