RPF retrieves luggage worth Rs 51.13 L in May-2023

Pune: The Railway Protection Force (RPF) recovered the belongings of 119 passengers, amounting to approximately Rs. 51.13 Lakh in value.

On the Mumbai Division of Central Railway, the RPF retrieved luggage worth Rs. 29.92 Lakh belonging to 62 passengers.

In May 2023, as part of Operation 'Amanat', RPF recovered items like bags, mobile phones, purses, laptops, and other valuable articles.

The value of luggage of passengers retrieved on other divisions are:

Bhusaval Division Rs 10.75 lakh worth of luggage of 31 passengers

Nagpur Division Rs. 8.05 lakh worth of luggage of 29 passengers

Pune Division Rs.68,234 worth of luggage of 09 passengers

Solapur Division Rs.1.71 lakh worth luggage of 08 passengers, said a release.
