Mumbai/IBNS: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Friday received a bomb threat in the Russian language, in a second such incident within less than a month's time, media reports said.

The threat was received on the central bank's official website.

The Mumbai Police has filed a case against an unknown person

The email, which was in the Russian language, threatened to blow up the bank.

Investigation is underway.

This comes on a day several schools in Delhi received fresh bomb threats via email.

Multiple agencies searched the premises of the schools after the educational institutes reported receiving bomb threats.

According to reports, nothing suspicious has been recovered from the schools.

Slamming the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led central government, which controls the law and order in the national capital, former Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal wrote on X, "This is the second time in this week that Delhi schools have received bomb threats, which is extremely serious and worrying. If this continues, how badly will it affect the children? What will happen to their studies?"
