RBI lifts restrictions on cash withdrawal from savings account
New Delhi, Mar 13 (IBNS): All restrictions on cash withdrawal from savings bank account, which were imposed since the demonetisation scheme was announced in November last, have been removed from Monday.
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) had issued a notification on this in February.
However, many banks have introduced various charges or reduced the free services on banking activities, such as cash deposits, ATM withdrawals, minimum balance in savings accounts, etc.
