RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das hospitalised in Chennai with minor health issues

Chennai/IBNS: Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor Shaktikanta Das has been hospitalised with minor health issues, media reports said.

Das was admitted to the Apollo Hospital in Chennai with acidity.

He will be discharged soon as there is not much of a concern, said the central bank of India.

An RBI spokesperson said in a statement, "Reserve Bank of India Governor Shri Shaktikanta Das experienced acidity and was admitted in Apollo Hospital, Chennai for observation.

"He is now doing fine and will be discharged in the next 2-3 hours. There is no cause for concern."
