Ravi Shankar Prasad takes over as the New Law & Justice Minister

New Delhi, July 6 (IBNS) Ravi Shankar Prasad on Wednesday took over as New Union Law & Justice Minister here in New Delhi .

This is in addition to the current charge of Union Minister for Electronics & Information Technology. Speaking to media persons soon after assuming the office he said timely Justice delivery and transparency is one of the main priority of this Government.

He said, "It will be our foremost effort to strive for the objective that well qualified and most eligible persons join the judicial system."

Prasad also expressed gratitude towards the Prime Minister in reposing faith to adjudge him for the important tasks.
