Rakesh Asthana named interim CBI chief
New Delhi, Dec 2 (IBNS): Rakesh Asthana has been appointed as the interim director of the Central Bureau of Investigation, officials said.
Asthana is the additional director of the agency.
He will step into the shoes of Anil Sinha.
His tenure ended on Friday.
The department of personnel and training issued a statement over the appointment on Friday.
