Rajnath Singh leaves for flood-hit Assam

New Delhi, July 30 (IBNS): Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday morning left for Guwahati to take stock of the situations in flood affected Assam.

"Leaving New Delhi for Guwahati to take stock of the situation in flood affected areas of Assam," Singh tweeted.

Singh is expected to arrive at Borjhar International Airport and will fly to the flood affected Morigaon district to assess  the situation.

The Minister will also review the situation with Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and other government officials and then fly back to Delhi in the evening.
