Rajnath Singh chairs security review meeting at Jaisalmer

Jaisalmer,Rajasthan, Oct 7 (IBNS) : Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh chaired a security review meeting in Rajasthan's Jaisalmer on Friday amid repeated incidents of border skirmishes with Pakistan, reports said.

The home minister, who is on a two-day visit to Rajasthan, arrived at Jaisalmer on Friday morning.

During his visit, Singh will also hold meetings with top BSF officials and attend  a meeting with the Chief Ministers of Jammu and Kashmir,Rajasthan and Gujarat, besides the  Punjab Deputy Chief Minister on the ways to seal the Indo-Pak border.

The Home Minister will visit the  border areas of Rajasthan and  the Munabao border outpost in Barmer.

Singh will also visit Murar, BoP in Jaisalmer and asses the situation along the Indo-Pak border.
