Rajasthan cop found shot dead in his car with woman's body

Jaipur, Dec 23 (IBNS) A Rajasthan police officer was found dead in his car on Thursday night with the body of a woman next to him as the police initially suspected that the cop killed himself with his own revolver.

The car of the cop was found on the outskirts of Jaipur and police suspected it as a case of suicide owing to personal and family issues.

The police recovered the mobile phone of the woman and is trying to establish her identity.

According to an NDTV report, 42-year-old Ashish Prabhakar, was an additional Superintendent of Police who was recently deputed to the Anti-Terror Squad.

The other woman found in the car was reportedly in her thirties.

Reports said the copy left office in the evening and the incident occurred a few hours later.

A note by the cop to his wife was found. In the note he had sought forgiveness from his wife.
