Jaipur/IBNS: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has tested positive for COVID-19.

Gehlot said his symptoms are "very light".

He tweeted, "This evening I got myself tested for Covid and was found positive. My symptoms are very light and there is no other problem. All those who came into contact with me today, I request them to isolate themselves and undergo Covid-Test."

This is the second time Gehlot has contracted the virus.

The 70-year-old Congress leader had tested positive for coronavirus in April last year.

Upon hearing the news, Gehlot's party colleague and Congress MLA, Sachin Pilot tweeted, "I pray to God for his speedy recovery."
