Rajasthan: 8-yr-old girl dies after being allegedly beaten by teacher

Dausa, Rajasthan, Aug 28 (IBNS): In a shocking incident, an eight-year-old schoolgirl lost her life on Thursday after being allegedly beaten up by her teacher in Dausa in Rajasthan, reports said.

The child was reportedly referred to a Jaipur hospital but she succumbed to her injuries on the way.

The teacher accused of beating the child and school authorities are being questioned by the police.

The child's autopsy report is awaited.
