Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu inaugurates Ranchi-Tori railway in Jharkhand

Ranchi, Mar 9 (IBNS): Union Rail Minister Suresh Prabhu, on Thursday, inaugurated the Ranchi-Lohardaga-Tori railway line in Jharkhand through video conferencing from Rail Bhavan in New Delhi.

Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das flagged of the first train on this route from Ranchi, according to media reports.

According to local railway officials, this new line will reduce the distance between Ranchi and Delhi via Lohardaga – Tori by 106 km and shorten the travel time by at least 3 hours.
