Rahul Gandhi visits Dodda Ganapathi Temple in Karnataka

Bengaluru, May 9 (IBNS): Congress president Rahul Gandhi  visited the Dodda Ganapathi Temple in  Basavanagudi in poll-bound Karnataka on the third day of the ninth phase of Jana Aashirwada Yatra on Wednesday.

Congress has shared a video where the party president could be seen offering prayers, just three days before the Karnataka assembly polls.

"Congress President @RahulGandhi offers prayers at the Dodda Ganapathi Temple, Basavanagudi, Chickpet. #JanaAashirwadaYatre #INC4Karnataka" the caption of the video reads.

Later in the day, Rahul will hold corner meetings at Shivajinagar and Hebbal.

Rahul has been busy in campaigning for the Congress in the last few days.

Karnataka assembly poll is scheduled to be held on May 12.

The results will be out three days later on May 15.

The state is one of the last few strong holds of the Congress.
