Rahul attacks PM Modi on his meeting with Manmohan Singh

New Delhi, May 28 (IBNS): Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his meeting with Manmohan Singh and said the ex-Prime Minister took his class on running the economy.

"Modi ji took one hour class from former PM Dr Manmohan Singh on how the economy works," Gandhi said while addressing at the National Convention of NSUI.

Attacking the PM further, he said: "Modi govt is committing one mistake after another.Make in India will yield nothing because you first need to empower poor people."

Modi met Manmohan Singh in New Delhi on Wednesday.

The meeting took place at 7 RCR here.

Modi said he had a 'great meeting' with Singh.

Modi tweeted: "Very happy to meet Dr. Manmohan Singh ji & welcome him back to 7RCR. We had a great meeting."
