Rahul attacks Japan-returned Modi on home promises
Amethi, Sept 4 (IBNS): In a direct attack to Narendra Modi, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi on Thursday said the Prime Minister is playing drums in Japan while he has forgotten all his promises made prior to the election.
"The Prime Minister is playing the drum in Japan. What is he doing about the price rise and corruption in the country? The government has forgotten all their promises," said Rahul during a visit to his constituency Amethi in Uttar Pradesh.
"Our new government promised a lot of things, but 100 days have passed and he has failed even to start action towards controlling price rise, combatting electricity problems. No action has been taken even to combat corruption in the country," he said.
Ending his five-day visit to Japan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi returned to India on Wednesday.
While Modi delivered a number of speeches and incurred an investment of 3.5 trillion yen from Japan, he was also seen playing drums there.
