Punjab RSS vice-president Jagdish Gagneja passes away in Ludhiana
Ludhiana, Sep 22 (IBNS): Punjab Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader Brigadier (retd) Jagdish Gagneja, 68, who was severely injured in an attack in August, passed away at a Ludhiana hospital on Thursday, according to media reports.
Gagneja was admitted to the hospital after he was injured when two unknown bike-borne assailants shot at him from a close range near a busy market.
He was on life support system ever since, media reported.
He was the Punjab vice-president of the RSS and a key link in the RSS-BJP arrangement.
