Puducherry: Woman held in connection with husband’s death

Puducherry, May 7 (UNI) Police arrested a woman on Tuesday in connection with the death of her husband.

According to police, the body of a 35-year-old man was found in a drainage on the 100 feet road near Mudaliarpet on Monday. Police later identified him as Kamalakannan, a driver from Orleanpet area here.

The post-mortem revealed that he was murdered. Police registered a murder case and started Investigation.

During the course of investigation, they interrogated his wife Sella and came to know that she attacked Kamalkannan in a family dispute and he died.

To get escaped from police, Sella packed the body in a jute bag and with the help of her male friend it was dumped into the drainage.

Police arrested Sella and are on the search for her male friend.
