Lucknow, Aug 11 (UNI): Congress General Secretary (Uttar Pradesh) Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is scheduled to visit Umbha village in Sonebhadra district in Uttar Pradesh on Au 13, where 10 tribals were killed on June 17 in a land dispute case.

Congress sources here on Sunday said that Priyanka would be visiting Sonebhadra to meet the victims' family.

After the firing incident, Priyanka had rushed to Sonebhadra but was detained by UP police and was kept at Chunar guest house for around 26 hours due to the imposition of section 144 of the CrPC in the area.

She sat on a 'dharna' and only withdrew it when the family members of the victim met her.

Later, Priyanka also announced Rs 10 lakh each to the family of the deceased tribals.

Priyanka would be accompanied by senior party leaders of UP and Delhi.
