French President Emmanuel Macron has said Indian PM Narendra Modi will participate in the ‘Artificial Intelligence Action Summit’ to be held in Paris next month.

Addressing the French Ambassador Conference, Macron was quoted as saying by News18, “France will be hosting on February 11-12 the AI Summit, Summit for Action."

"This summit will enable us to have an international discussion on Artificial Intelligence," he said.

"PM Modi will be there immediately after his state visit to our country, and this enables us to have a dialogue with all the powers on AI, US, China & Major Nations like India which have a role to play, & gulf states," Macron was quoted as saying by News 18.

The Indian government has not made any announcement on Modi's upcoming visit to France so far.

As per the official website of the Summit, it will be held at the Grand Palais.

In 2023, Modi visited France as the guest of honour at France’s Bastille Day parade.

It was his last visit to the European nation.

Modi and Macron last met on the sidelines of the G20 Summit in Brazil.
