President's estate becomes 100 % Wi-Fi

New Delhi, May 22 (IBNS): The President's Estate became 100 % Wi-Fi from Friday.

President of India Pranab Mukherjee inaugurated 24 Hot Spots with 30 Wi-Fi access points in the President’s Estate at a function on Friday in the presence of Ravi Shankar Prasad, Union Minister of Communications and Information Technology, R S Sharma, Secretary, D/o Electronics & IT and Shefali Sushil Dash, DDG, NIC.

The facility has been set up in order to provide internet services free or at nominal charges to all residents of President’s Estate.
