President Ram Nath Kovind mourns death of Bollywood actor Kader Khan
New Delhi, Jan 1 (IBNS): President Ram Nath Kovind on Tuesday mourned the death of Bollywood actor Kader Khan who passed away in Canada.
Kovind described Khan as a versatile actor.

Bollywood actor Kader Khan, who entertained cine-goers of popular Indian cinema with his roles as either a comedian or a villain mostly during the 1980s and 90s, died on Tuesday after a protracted illness in Canada. He was 81.
The news of his death was conveyed by his son.
He was on a BiPAP ventilator (Bilevel positive airway pressure) following breathlessness, was also suffering from pneumonia. He had Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, a degenerative disease that causes loss of balance and dementia.
Kader Khan, who was Afghan-born had acted in over 300 films after his debut film in the 1973 film Daag.
He was also a popular screenwriter for Bollywood films.
He had graduated from Ismail Yusuf College affiliated to Bombay University. Before entering the film industry he was teaching Civil Engineering at M. H. Saboo Siddik College of Engineering.
