New Delhi, Nov 2 (IBNS): President Pranab Mukherjee has extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and the people of the Republic of Panama on the eve of their Independence Day

In a message to Juan Carlos Varela Rodriguez, the President of the Republic of Panama, the President has said, “On behalf of the Government and the people of India, as well as on my own behalf, it gives me immense pleasure to extend warm greetings to the Government and the people of Panama on the occasion of your Independence Day."

"The traditionally friendly relations between India and Panama have been growing in recent times through diversified trade, close interaction in the multilateral fora and the India-SICA Dialogue. I am confident that our relations will assume greater depth and context in the coming days," Mukherjee said.
