President of India’s message on the eve of National Day of Malawi

New Delhi, Jul 5 (IBNS): President of India Pranab Mukherjee extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and people of the Republic of Malawi on the eve of their National Day (Jul 6, 2016).
The Republic of Malawi is located in south-eastern Africa. 
 
In a message to the President of the Republic of Malawi,  Prof. Arthur Peter Mutharika, the Indian President said, “On behalf of the Government, the people of India and on my own behalf, it is with pleasure that I convey to you – and to the Government and the people of Malawi, warm greetings and felicitations on the occasion of your National Day. 
 
It is a matter of great satisfaction that India and Malawi share cordial bilateral ties marked by our enhanced engagement in the areas of common interest identified by us. Our relations are based on the firm foundations of mutual respect and understanding. I am confident that the bilateral engagement between our two countries will continue to grow to the mutual benefit of our peoples. 
 
I take this opportunity to extend to Your Excellency, my best wishes for your health and well-being as well as for the progress and prosperity of the friendly people of Malawi.”
