President of India greets Queen of Denmark on her birthday

New Delhi, Apr 15 (IBNS) President Pranab Mukherjee on Friday conveyed his greetings and felicitations to Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II, the Queen of the Kingdom of Denmark on her birthday which falls on Apr 16.

In his message, the President said, “On behalf of the Government, the people of India and on my own behalf, it is with great pleasure that I extend warm greetings and felicitations to Your Majesty on the occasion of Your Majesty’s Birthday. "

"Your Majesty’s commitment and contribution in promoting friendship and cooperation between Denmark and India is appreciated deeply. I am confident that our ties will be further strengthened and enhanced in the coming days to the mutual benefit of our countries and our peoples," Mukherjee said.

"I would also like to take this opportunity to convey to Your Majesty my best wishes for your good health and well-being and for the continued progress and prosperity of the friendly people of the Kingdom of Denmark," he said.
