Pranab Mukherjee condoles the passing away of mother of President of Ghana

New Delhi, June 18 (IBNS) President Pranab Mukherjee on Staurday condoled the passing away of Hajia Abiba Nnaba, mother of the President of Ghana.

In a condolence message to John Dramani Mahama, the President of Republic of Ghana, the President said, “I am saddened to learn that your beloved mother, Madam Hajia Abiba Nnaba, has passed away. I write to express my sincere and heartfelt condolences to you and your family. May you have the strength to bear this irreparable personal loss."

"She left this world with great dignity and pride as the mother of an illustrious son who has risen to become the President of her country, steering its destiny. May her soul rest in eternal peace," Mukherjee said.

He said: "I take this opportunity to thank you, once again, for the unstinting hospitality accorded to me during my just concluded State Visit to your country.”
