Mumbai, Apr 18 (IBNS) Maharashtra's Minister for Water Conservation, Pankaja Munde, who was being criticised by various political parties for posting a series of 'selfies' over the weekend from her tour of drought-stricken Latur, said on Monday that the pictures were about the drought-relief work done by the local administration, according to media reports.
Tweeted Munde, "Completely focused on #drought relief measures, prepn for water consvn etc."

Not only the opposition but also the ruling BJP government's ally, the Shiv Sena, has also protested against the pictures posted by Munde froLatur.

According to local reports, while the Congress has accused Munde of making a 'mockery of the drought', Shiv Sena has said that she should have abstained from clicking and posting such pictures.

Munde was also trolled on the social media site Twitter, where she had posted the pictures, where people accused her of finding photo opportunities in the middle of a disaster.

Pankaja Munde is the daughter of late BJP leader Gopinath Munde who died in an accident in Delhi in 2014.
