Poll violence: Maoists kill CRPF jawans in Bihar

Patna, Apr 10 (IBNS) Hours before polling in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections began in Jamui parliamentary constituency of Bihar, at least two Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans were killed and three others were injured in an improvised explosive device (IED) triggered by Maoists on Thursday, said reports.

According to reports, a team of CRPF and Bihar Police officials was on its way to a polling station in Jamui around 5.30 am when an IED planted in a bridge near Sawa Lakh Baba Mandir exploded killing two jawans and injuring three others.
