Police arrest two ATM robbers and recover stolen Rs 95 lakh cash from them

Bengaluru, May 15 (UNI) Police have nabbed two robbers who had looted ATMs under the guise of repairing it and recovered from them stolen Rs 95 lakhs cash in the City.

Police said on Wednesday that the arrested were identified as Kishore Kumar and Rakesh.

Rakesh was working as Custodian in Secure Value company which had contract for filling and maintaining ATMs of various Banks. On May 1, he along with his friend Kishore Kumar, under the guise of repairing ATM entered ICICI Bank ATM in Longford Road, Shantinagar in the City and robbed Rs 47,83,000 and then decamped with Rs 51,30,000 from RBL ATM on Residency Road also in the city.

Following complaints received from the respective Bank heads special team was formed and the duo were nabbed.

Audugodi Police have registered a case and investigating.
