Police arrest most wanted mobile thief in Assam’s Biswanath

Guwahati/IBNS: Police have arrested a most wanted mobile thief along with several mobile phones worth Rs 2 lakh in Assam’s Biswanath district.

According to the reports, based on a complaint, Biswanath district police had launched operation at Tezpur Jharani village area and arrested a most wanted mobile thief along with several mobile phone handsets on Wednesday night.

The arrested thief has been identified as Ikramul Hussain who was stealing several mobile phones from a shop on February 8 at Biswanath Chariali area.

A top police official of Biswanath district said that, the arrested person was involved few similar cases and spent few months in jail also.

Biswanath district police has registered a case in connection with it.
