PM Narendra Modi has forgotten the people who voted him into power : Priyanka Gandhi Vadra

| @indiablooms | Apr 27, 2019, at 06:19 pm

Barabanki, Apr 27 (UNI/IBNS) Congress general secretary (Uttar Pradesh east) Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Saturday slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said he has forgotten the people who had voted him to power five years back.

"A person thinks that he will be always in power but the people voted him for just five years. How can people support a PM who has forgotten them" Ms Vadra said while addressing an election rally here.

Vadra , who participated in a road show in Unnao and later went for another road show in Devashariff in Barabanki, said when people elected Modi, everyone had a dream that country would develop and end their problems. But unfortunately, nothing happened and the PM had even forgotten the people who had supported him in 2014.

"PM says he has a 56-inch chest but then why he is afraid of the people and even from the opposition. He is the weakest PM and this government is the weakest one," she alleged.

Vadra further alleged that all the policies made during the BJP regime was mostly for the rich people and the poor have been ignored totally.

During the speech, the Congress general secretary also spoke about the promises made by her party during the elections.

Earlier during her road show in Unnao, a clash broke out between BJP and Congress supporters.

However, the intervention of police saved the situation from going out of control.
