PM Modi to give away his social media accounts to women on Women's Day

New Delhi/IBNS: Ending speculations, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said he will give away his social media accounts to women on the occasion of Women's Day on Sunday.

Modi on Tuesday tweeted, "This Women's Day, I will give away my social media accounts to women whose life & work inspire us. This will help them ignite motivation in millions. Are you such a woman or do you know such inspiring women? Share such stories using #SheInspiresUs."

The announcement came a day after Modi said he was thinking of giving up his social media accounts, leading speculations over his quit from accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.

He had tweeted, "This Sunday, thinking of giving up my social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & YouTube. Will keep you all posted."

Right now Modi has 53.3 million followers on Twitter and 44 million follow him on Facebook.

PM Modi has over 30 million followers on Instagram while US President Donald Trump currently has 14.9 million followers.
