PM Modi slams Congress over Parliament disruptions

| | Sep 11, 2015, at 10:27 pm
Chandigarh, Sept 11 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday slammed the Congress party over the issue of Parliament deadlock and said people of India will not forgive them for their acts in the Parliament.

"People of India will not forgive some of the parties for their conduct in the Parliament. Ideals of democracy were not respect," Modi said.

"What 40 people are doing in the Parliament is not in the spirit of democracy. Parliament has to function," he said.

Further attacking the party, he said: "Why are some people doing this, just for their arrogance. There can be nothing more unfortunate than this."

PM was referring to the disruptions witnessed in the last session of the Parliament.
