PM Modi receives ceremonial welcome at Istana in Singapore

Kuala Lumpur, Jun 1 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi was accorded a ceremonial welcome at Istana, the Presidential Palace in Singapore, on Friday.

External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Raveesh Kumar tweeted, "PM @narendramodi was accorded a ceremonial welcome on his arrival at Istana - Presidential Palace of Singapore. Millennia old ties now powered by partnership in innovation and technology."

After concluding his Indonesia and Malaysia trips, the PM is now on a visit to Singapore.

On Thursday, a New India Innovation Hub of over 50000 square feet was launched in Singapore for Indian start-ups in the presence of the Prime Minister.

Additionally, 14 business to business (B2B) and business to government (B2G) documents were also announced in the presence of Modi.

Modi had also addressed the Indian community on the first day of his Singapore trip.

He will conclude his three-nation visit on Jun 2.
