PM Modi meets Hillary and Bill Clinton

New York, Sept 29 (IBNS): Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Monday met former US President Bill Clinton and country's ex-US Secy of State Hillary Clinton.

Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin  tweeted: "Welcome visitors. PM @narendramodi & Minister @SushmaSwaraj warmly receive @billclinton & @HillaryClinton."

Earlier, Modi, who is on a five-day visit to the United States, met top American CEOs over a powerful breakfast meeting to pitch for investment to develop India's infrastructure.

The breakfast meeting reportedly included Mastercard CEO Ajay Banga, Cargill’s President and CEO David W MacLennan, Caterpillar’s Douglas Oberhelman, AES’ Andres Gluski, Merck’s Kenneth Frazier, co-founder and co-CEO of Carlyle Group David Rubenstein, Hospira’s Michael Ball and Warburg Pincus’ Charles Kaye.

The breakfast meet was followed by one-on-one meetings with six CEOs of Boeing, KKR, BlackRock, IBM, General Electric and Goldman Sachs.
