New Delhi, Oct 21 (IBNS): To mark the festival of Diwali, Prime Minister Narendra Modi hosted a dinner for his Council of ministers in Delhi on Monday night, media reports said.

The dinner was attended by all members of Modi's Cabinet.

Sources said during the dinner the PM told his ministers to maintain the momentum of the ‘Swachch Bharat’ mission, the cleanliness drive he launched on October 2, and ensure that it was a success.

Union Heavy Industries Minister Anant Geete of the Shiv Sena also attended the dinner. He flew down to attend the event at a time when the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to form the government in Maharashtra.

Reports said the dinner was a lavish spread of north Indian and south Indian vegetarian delicacies.
