PM Modi greets UN on its 72nd anniversary

New Delhi, Oct 24 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday greeted the UN on its 72nd anniversary.

"Greetings on @UN Day. We appreciate UN’s efforts in promoting world peace & laud the wide range of initiatives under its guidance. #UNDay," the Prime Minister's tweet read.

Lauding the UN, he said in an ensuing tweet, "India is proud of the steadfast support & active participation in several @UN initiatives aimed at making our world a better place. #UNDay."

UN was established in 1945.
