PM Modi greets Parsi community on Navroz

New Delhi, Aug 17 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday greeted the Parsi community on their new year.

The Parsi new year, better known as Navroz or Nowruz, is celebrated by the Persian and Iranian people across the globe.

Wishing for good health, the Prime Minister tweeted, "Navroz Mubarak to the Parsi community. May there be an abundance of happiness, success & good health in this coming year."

Navroz falls on the first day of the first month of the Fasli calendar.
