PM Modi greets nation on Dhanteras

New Delhi, Oct 28 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday greeted the nation on the occasion of Dhanteras.

"Greetings on the auspicious occasion of Dhanteras," his message on Twitter read.

A Hindu festival, Dhanteras is observed by buying precious metals.

It is also the first day of the five days long Diwali celebrations.
