PM Modi greets Indonesian people on their Independence Day

New Delhi, Aug 17 (IBNS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has greeted the people of Indonesia on their Independence Day.

“On their Independence Day, I extend my greetings and wishes to the people of Indonesia. History brings us together and both nations cherish the democratic framework," the Prime Minister said in a message.

Recalling his meeting with the President of Indonesia, the Prime Minster said, “I warmly recall my meeting with President Joko Widodo. I am hopeful that economic ties between our nations will flourish in the coming years.”
