PM Modi condoles death of Infosys employee in Brussels attack

New Delhi, Mar 29 (IBNS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday, condoled the death of Raghavendran Ganeshan, the Infosys employee who died in the Brussels attack a week ago.

The Prime Minister said, "A young life, full of hope & promise cut short by mindless violence... condolences to family of Raghavendran, who lost his life in Brussels."

Earlier, on Monday, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj took to Twitter to officially announce Raghavendran's demise.

"I am deeply pained to inform that Brussels authorities hv identified Raghavendran as one of the victims of terror blasts in Brussels," she said.

"His mortal remains are being handed over to the family in Brussels. Unfortunately, he was travelling in the same coach of the metro in which the suicide bomber blew himself up," Swaraj added.

Swaraj also condoled the death. She said, "My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family."
