Bhopal, Sept 25 (IBNS): Ahead of the crucial Assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Amit Shah will address the saffron party workers at a mega rally in Bhopal, the capital city of the state, on Tuesday.

The top brass will address the gathering on the occasion of birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, the co-founder of Bharatiya Jana Sangh, the forerunner of the BJP.

The address, which is scheduled to begin at 1 pm, is likely to boost up incumbent BJP's poll campaign in the state.

Madhya Pradesh elections are due to be held at the end of the year.

The elections in Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan-ruled Madhya Pradesh along with Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh are considered to be crucial for both the ruling BJP and opposition Congress in the run up to 2019 General Elections.

A recent poll survey had predicted the Congress is set to win all the three state elections.
