PIL filed in Calcutta High Court against BJP's 'Parivartan Rath Yatra', hearing likely tomorrow

Kolkata: A Public Interest Litigation (PIL) has been filed before the Calcutta High Court against BJP's proposed 'Parivartan Rath Yatra', reports said.

According to reports, citing a possibility of law-and-order disruption during the Rath Yatra, Kolkata based lawyer, Ramaprasad Roy, filed the PIL which is likely to be heard on Thursday.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP national president J.P. Nadda would be launching five mega 'Parivartan Rath Yatras' across poll-bound West Bengal later in February.

West Bengal is witnessing a political battle between the ruling Trinamool Congress and the BJP.
