PIB "tweets" PM Modi's photo-shopped picture
New Delhi, Dec 3 (IBNS): A purported photo-shopped image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted by the Press Information Bureau (PIB) has triggered a controversy.
Modi on Thursday visited flood-affected Chennai and conducted an aerial survey via Indian Air Force's chopper to take a stock of the situation there. He met Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha later and announced to release more Rs. 1000 crore immediately to Tamil Nadu.
Narendra Modi also tweeted a photo, which was snapped while he was taking an aerial view of flooded Chennai.
After photoshopping the image, the Press Information Bureau (PIB) published the photo on its Twitter page.
Through editing, PIB allegedly changed the view, which Modi was witnessing through the chopper's window.
However, no reaction has been received so far form the PIB.
At least 269 people have died in Tamil Nadu due to rain-related incidents in the past one month.
