New Delhi, May 4 (UNI) Taking up questions on whether he would be the Prime Minister of the country if the Congress led alliance came to power at the Centre, party president Rahul Gandhi on Saturday said people of the country would decide "who will be the next Prime Minister".

Addressing a press conference here, the Congress president, replying to a question on whether he would be PM if a Congress-led alliance comes to power at the Centre, said, 'People of the country will decide who will be the next Prime Minister. It is not my job.’’

He said the first target of the opposition alliance was to defeat the BJP and other things would come after that.

"Youth, farmers, economy all are staring at the end of the road. We want to show a way to all in the country,’’ Rahul said.
